This was a special day for me as well as S & A, i have known S since she was born, but it had been a while since i had seen here, then she contacted me to ask if i would shoot her wedding at the calgary zoo and ofcourse i said yes! such a unique venue, and guests can walk around the zoo for free, we is exactly what we did ( i would recommend doing so straight after ceremony as the zoo closes at 5) and we got some photos with the animals. A is italian so we had an italian inspired dinner and it was delicious. The reception was in the conservatory and we could wonder round both gardens, one is where the butterflies are and you can see them in their cocoons. We took some portraits with the beautiful exotic plants in the conservatory. it was nice to see old friends again and see how they have grown and meet their kiddos. i have to admit i enjoyed the drive back home through calgary, seeing it all lit up, it was quiet beautiful.
